How Do You Unlock Ps3 Blue Ray Drive ?

hi does anybody know if theres any software that will unlock a ps3 usa machine so its multi region ? ive got a ps3 usa one as the blue rays are cheaper is usa than the stupid uk prices with some shops chagring upto £30.

im told if i copy a disc with any dvd and clone then put in my machine it will unlock it is this true [link removed]

if anybody any knows of anything drop me a line thanks

I'm confused. If you bought a USA PS3 because USA BDs are cheaper... where's the problem?

First thing you will need is a very small screwdriver - the kind you get for eyeglasses.

Next, you forcefully insert the screwdriver into.....oh wait sorry. I'm thinking of something else.

I don't believe it has been done yet.

I think he wants to make it region free for standard DVDs. He has Region 2 SD DVDs, but he can't play them in a Region 1 player. The Blu-rays wouldn't be an issue really because very few have region encoding enabled.
