I just got Pushing Daisies, I've never seen the series but am very impressed by it.
It looks absolutely fantastic. There is a lot of CG, but most doesn't stand out too badly, and from the episodes I've seen (especially the Pilot) it's a very movie esque series, which is great. Great acting, directing, writing, and overall quality. Sort of reminds me of the first part of Amelie.
The packaging is pretty cool, slip cases where the case doesn't match the slip is always a plus in my book. I was surprised that it is 3 discs seeing as Season 1 was short and the set is as cheap as it is.

I got Days from DDDHouse. The only problem ordering from DVDAsian and HKFlix is that they usually have to get the discs from HK first so by the time they ship to you, it's usually a few weeks after the actual release date. The only US based retailer that ships stuff out pretty quick is YesAsia. I just order from DDDHouse or PlayAsia because it's cheaper but they actually ship from HK.

Mentally noted. I was actually this close to ordering it from DDDHouse but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of bending my schedule around in order to pick it up from the post office -- they'll never leave shipments from DDD at my apartment like everyone else, for some reason.

Just wanted to post that The Perfect Storm is not representative of HD or HD DVD titles in general in case this is your first experience in HD. This movie sucks in HD, and has a lot of grain. About the only time you observe some great HD detail is in the beginning of the movie, and during scenes in the daytime--with a caveat to scenes being shot inside the boats in the daytime as they are also grainy.
