I am pretty sure that they just need to inform you somewhere on the website that they will charge when placing the order and not when shipping.

It's still screwed up thought

Errr...tower.com is now owned by Caiman. In other words, legality isn't a prime concern of theirs.

This morning about 8am I hit my local Wal Mart and there was a shelf sticker for Bee Movie, but no disc.

-- Checked across the street at Target and they said they hadn't seen any on HD at all.

Looks grim so far . . .

There would be some copies on Ebay proclaiming "IN HAND!" if they made it out in any decent numbers. I haven't checked this morning, but as of yesterday there was nothing like that.

No Bee Movie HD anywhere here. I had a copy reserved at Specs and another at Borders and they didn't recieve it. Also, add Borders to the list of stores that have returned all their HD DVD inventory.

You could put that money toward a new BD player and simply wait for it to be released in Blu, as we all know it will be soon enough.

That's just insane. As soon as the Blu-ray comes out, this disc will be worthless (in terms of it's uniqueness in the HDM world). Why would anyone bid that much for it?

I doubt the seller even has a copy. So both sides could be empty.

I'm going to laugh pretty hard if this guy starts producing hand written receipts.

If this is true, then Paramount should have just went ahead and released it to all retailers. To ship it to a few retailers? WTF.

I wouldn't be surprised if CH just subbed the DVD version. If Target has them here and there I would think we'd have some pics with receipts by now.

Yep, pics, reviews and receipts will have to prove Bee Movie Hd-DVD exists for me. If nothing by tomorrow, then it didn't come out in any real way. Now if 1 or 2 or 20 leak out over the next year and are very valuable is still a possibility (however small). And I don't know if I ever believed that Paramount made Blades of Glory on Blu-ray (even though I have seen the supposed pics).

No dice at my local Best Buy. Then again, they didn't have any of this week's HD DVD releases. But they still have 4 racks of HD DVD compared to 5 BD. Odd store.

I don't understand what all the buzz is about. I had this pre-ordered on HD-Dvd but when it was cancelled I swapped that title for another one. I had it pre-ordered with CH and even they acted like the HD-Dvd version wasn't going to ship and gave me no problems with changing my order. I guess I would just prefer to wait a few months for the BD version rather than pay several hundred for one movie.

I don't see the auction. Must have been removed.
