They need to sell this as a double pack with God Told Me To Kill. BU did the DVD release of that, so maybe they'll do a BR as well.

For those who don't frequent the bargains forum:
Per Undeadcow's thread, Deep Discount is offering several Synapse blus (including Frankenhooker, Vampire Circus, The Dorm That Dripped Blood, The Exterminator & others) for under $10.

With a German Blu-ray of Mark of the Devil on the way, I asked BU if they had any plans for a HD upgrade.

I asked Synapse about a possible Blu-ray (presumably combo) of The Kindred:
Still trying to work out some legal issues, but we're crossing our fingers. Nothing set in stone yet.

from Don May's Twitter:
this is fantastic news, one of my most anticipated releases of 2012 along with Vol. 6.
Working on the audio of the 42ND STREET FOREVER BLU-RAY EDITION today and tomorrow. Yes, it's ALMOST done. Finally.

I'm surprised that Night Train Murders hasn't dropped to $14.99 like all of the other recent BU releases. I pre-ordered it for $10 from Horror Movie Empire, but who knows when/if I'll get it.

Sounds like Don's under a lot of stress some of his posts on facebook today:
Sometimes I wonder why I even bother trusting some people when all they do is just shit all over you.
It's about a LOT of things... more than one person... really getting fed up with a lot of the bullshit that comes with irresponsible people in this business.
It IS affecting our output. People aren't coming through and our schedule is suffering because of it. Lots of irritating scrambling.
It's actually around four projects that I'm dealing with now that are being held up for reasons that I cannot control, and that really is irritating. They should've all been done by now, but they aren't for various reasons. One project, I can deal with... but combined with three others... it's just infuriating. I bust my ass every day and this is the thanks I get.
Nothing is wrong with our company, thankfully... just a lot of films I wanted to have finished by now are still hanging around in various states of completion. We still have plenty of titles to go around, though. But, with a company of only two, delays like this are frustrating as hell.

That doesn't surprise me. I remember Don mentioning waiting on materials for Dark Age but (probably) never got them.
Also Stephen Biro from Unearthed Films had waited on lots of materials (Color Corrected Tapes, Subtitles, etc) from Japan regarding films like Muzan-E, Girl Hell and a lot of other Japanese nasties, but the folks he was working with overseas also didn't come through.
Hoping everything works out for Don, as Synapse is a fantastic company.

Don also has to deal with crazy ass Bill from Code Red trying to spread internet rumors about Synapse.

HorrorHound's 11/11 issue includes an interview with Don May in which he mentions James Glickenhaus' Slaughter of the Innocents receiving an upcoming combo release, but no news since then.
