I just want Vigilante and Zombie. Come on Blue Underground!
|
re: Blue Underground on Blu-ray
What happened with Maniac? Is that still forthcoming?
|
re: Blue Underground on Blu-ray
Im guessing theyre expensive because theyre cult favorites and BU puts alot of work into them with Bonus features and pic/sound quality. Well worth it for that price than other studios crappy releases.

Good news about the talk on Maniac Cop and Street Trash.
Bummed about Lemora though, as I loved the film. |
Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray
I'd love a Blu release of Triumph of the Will.

Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray
I know Synapse put out the View Askew films that weren't directed by Kevin Smith (Drawing Flies, A Better Place, and Vulgar). Out of the three, A Better Place was my favorite (not to discount Drawing Flies, which was also very good; haven't seen Vulgar), and I would LOVE to see a Blu release of that.

Actually, the only one of those three movies that Synapse released was A Better Place.
With that said, though, since A Better Place was released by Synapse, I'd like to see it on Blu. |
Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray
The first BD from Synapse is two 42nd St. Forever titles? I can think of a dozen of their titles I'd rather see first.
I really want to see Street Trash and Brain Damage! |

I believe their rights to Brain Damage lapsed, but Street Trash is on the short list (copied/pasted upthread) that Synapse first listed: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/8783387-post33.html |
Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray
That's a shame about Brain Damage. The SE they put out was fantastic pq/aq-wise and had some great features.
I saw Street Trash on the short list, but I wanted it on the now list! I'd just like to see any film from Synapse on BD simply because Don May, Jr. is such a transfer whore that I know anything he puts out will look flawlessly spectacular. |

re: Blue Underground on Blu-ray
I like the weirdness of Circle of Iron, I'll probably pick that up.

re: Blue Underground on Blu-ray
in regards to Zombi - I thought I had read in Rue Morgue that there's even a longer cut of the film we (the fans) have yet to see - I hope the eventual bluray release, uses all the supplements that both DVD editions had.
