They've still got plenty of great movies they could release on Blu-ray. Have they announced anything else as significant as Evil Dead 2 and Halloween?

No. This week's To Kill a King is the only title on their schedule right now.

Anchor Bay had some terrific foreign and indie titles in their catalog. I would kill so see some of the vintage Herzog stuff on Blu-ray.

Do they still own the rights to Manhunter? If they released the actual theatrical cut on Blu-ray, I'd definitely pick that one up. Same goes with MGM if they release it.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Kentucky Fried Movie on Blu-ray.

I would love to see them put out some of their Herzog titles on BD.

Heathers is in need of a remaster, and I'll grab it ASAP it happens.

I'll gladly take these:

Re-Animator
Phantasm
Highlander
Class of 1984
Near Dark
Freaked
Aguirre: The Wrath of God
Fitzcarraldo
The Evil Dead

In addition to Heathers and The Long Good Friday, I'm most interested in..

Cemetery Man
Mischief (Fox owned?)
Mona Lisa
Near Dark (probably timed for whenever the remake hits)
Re-Animator
Quiet Earth, The (Fox owned?)
Wicker Man, The

I'll buy anything with Herzog's name on it, and The Stunt Man, several Alex Cox films, and many more besides. Plus, I'm still waiting on that Ultimate Edition of Dawn.

hell yeah for that, even if it will be my fourth copy of the film, since i never could bring myself to getting rid of any of the past releases. And the rest would be very nice as well.

No, it's worth MGM now, which is for the best. Even with 3 DVD editions Anchor Bay couldn't release the movie's proper theatrical cut.

The real question is how many releases of Dawn of the Dead and Halloween on Blu Ray will it take to get us a definitive release?

I'd love Phantasm, Hellraiser, Hellraiser II, and whatever Argento movies they still own the rights to.

With this year being the 30th anniversary of Halloween, I suspect (and hope) we'll see a 30th Anniversary Edition on DVD and Blu-ray Disc by late summer or early fall.

I'd rather them movie on to a different movie then re-visiting Halloween on DVD or Blu-ray. Does Anchor Bay have rights to any of the other Halloween movies?

#4 and #5 on DVD are actually pretty good transfers, I'd love to see what AB could do with those on Blu-ray, especially #4.
