The HDMI did NOT work with my TV and had to use the stupid component wires which only come out to 1080i. That REALLY PISSED me off so I returned to player and exchanged it because I thought it was the player. They gave me the A30 and guess what? The same thing happened! What a crappy piece of machienery! I returned it and got my money back! I even called Westinghouse AND Toshiba and nobody knew what to do. My PS3 has worked flawlessly with my TV. I knew this war was gonna be over, it was just a matter of time! Now all I have to do is wait for some AWESOME Universal and Paramount movies!

Well, that sucks. Of course you know, BestBuy is now leading the Blu-ray frontier as they announced they want to educate people about it.

Why the A30 didn't work? Could have been a fluke, or a setting that needed to be changed. |

It wasn't as much a "personal attack" as it was a "defense" for Trent Reznor. ;) Either way...

I knew Ken Crane, when he was a small lad.

Moving all gumpaholic posts to the One and Only I Want a Big BLU Cookie Forum.

Firmware didn't help either.

Blu loves Yu. :)

Change the name to BLU-RAY TALK already mods!
|
I know it's not even slated yet but Indy on Blu...

Yep, only way I am buying a re-release of the original films thats coming. I just have a bad feeling Crystal Skull will be only on DVD when released - basically a repeat of Phantom Menace ridiculously only on VHS

The forum is called "HD Talk" not "HD DVD and Blu-ray Talk". Its been this way for 2 years now and does not appear to be changing. This forum serves its purpose. When Downloads and such come by in a few years the forum will not need a name change. |

Seriously, though, HD stands for High Definition. Blu-ray is a high definition format. The name HD Talk makes much more sense than Blu-ray Talk. |
