I'm still buying HD-DVD. Although the last purchase has been Zodiac. I frankly could care less about all the nay saying and discouragement. I have a GREAT HD-DVD player that does an excellent job of upconverting standard DVD. How anyone could think someone is "wasting money" is beyond me. It'll play for the life of my HD-DVD player and it'll look great doing it.

As far as the PS3. I helped my nephew find one and firmwared it up for him. Although the Blu-Ray movies look as good to me as my HD-DVD's, the standard DVD upconversion IMO left a lo to be desired so i'm not in a big hurry to get a PS3 myself.
