Several HD DVD UK imports including T2 for $21.95 at exploitedcinema.com

Found this over at www.exploitedcinema.com I've been waiting on a sale on these.

http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/specials.php?Specials

T2 Special Edition HD DVD $21.95
John Carpenter's The Fog HD DVD $21.95
1976 version of King Kong HD DVD $21.95
Total Recall HD DVD $21.95
Basic Instinct HD DVD $21.95

Anyone know of any coupons or promo codes for this site???

MBoyd 02-05-08 09:43 PM

Saw that too.

Everyone seems to have a hard on for the German T2 steelbook coming though - which will probably be $50 on Xploited. I guess this one is the same as one of the French T2 discs?

Gizmo 02-05-08 10:44 PM

Nothing for me. Bummer.

JordanGLC 02-05-08 11:03 PM

Ordered the '76 King Kong a couple of days ago.

myrdh 02-06-08 07:48 AM

Thanks! Picked up King Kong as well.

Do these have the pitch issues the French versions had?

They're exactly the same as the French editions, just different packaging.

T2 does not have a pitch shift. Total Recall and Basic Instinct do. Not sure about Kong or The Fog.

chanster 02-06-08 10:41 AM

T2 looks great. I had the French edition but sold it awhile ago.

bunkaroo 02-06-08 10:58 AM

I thought I remember hearing The Fog and KK had the issue as well. T2 was OK from what I recall.

In any event, I would encourage all interested in these discs to at least seek out the threads about this issue at AVS, which have some good detailed user experiences.

I would never want to take away business from Xploited, who I think are awesome. Some aren't bothered by the pitch thing, but some will be.

I'd pick up The Graduate if they dropped the price.

You can get the Graduate for about $17 US from Blah DVD -- along with Basic Instinct, the Fog and First Blood. Leaving Las Vegas is only $14!

I see pricing in £ not USD.

Too expensive.

I noticed that as well. Was considering Rambo but its just way too expensive. I'd bite on Leaving Las Vegas if it was in stock.

I would go the ezydvd.com route.

Although they did raise their price from 9.92 AUS to 12.92.

You're looking at a link I posted almost a month ago; Blah's sale obviously ended. They were around £7 - £9 back then.

If you log in as an international customer, the price goes down to 11.75 AUS, which converts to about $11 USD.
