The Brave One 2/4/08

Well I haven't seen it yet. I was wondering it it's worth a blind buy? Or should I just keep it in my Netflix Queue & save a few bucks? I'm guessing it's pretty much like Death Wish.

They had this out already at my Walmart, price was too high for my taste, $29.99, would have made the purchase if it were $23 or $24 like Amazon.

I'm giving it a blind buy. Gotta show WB some love after they went BD exclusive.

HDD just gave it 4.5/5 for PQ.

I have this at the top of my Netflix queue, unfortunately I never get any of the new releases the week they come out.

I think this is the first Blu-Ray cover I've seen (I've not seen that many, admittedly) that looks really terrible and photochopped. Should have used the original poster art. There, I said it!

Movie is top notch. Don't buy it if you are looking for violence.

The violence is not of the entertaining type, it is secondary to the story. Unlike most revenge movies where violence is the main character.

I dont think Joe-d Foster would have anything to do with it, if it was only a gore-flick.
