So I just bought the A3 and have it hooked up via component. I need to update the firmware and having a crappy time hooking it up to the router? is it that difficult? Also I have it in my entertainment center cabinet. Will that be ok per the heat? as opposed to PS3 and 360?

You have to enable DHCP and DNS to get the A3 to connect to the internet. The update takes forever. I just did it a week ago and it downloads like 39 files, took about 20 minutes on my 5mb/sec. road runner.

turned out to be a bad cable. thanks for the help
