Buena Vista is really stepping up on the free blu ray offer.

The first time I sent in for my 5 free movies it took from the end of July to the first week of November to receive them. This time I sent in the form the second week of November and got all 5 today. Just about a month. That was fast.

How's everyone elses turn around time for the new promo offer?

Not impressed at all, since I sent mine via priority mail three weeks ago, and there's still no record of it in the online tracker.

I was pretty impressed the first time, as I got my five free movies in about a month (although I sent in the rebate right after it got offered)

I was told that the online tracker was only for the first rebate offer not the second.

I believe that is correct. I still have not received any updates and it's been 2 weeks. I sent out for the full metal jacket american psyco etc. promo.

https://portal.archway.com/run/Lookup?key=BVISTA

I was plesently surprised yesterday when I opened the mailbox and found my 5 discs which I sent in for the last week of November....
they also sent me the remastered version of FMJ and not the old version that was pictured

as to the tracking website, my info never did and still doesn't show up on there

Cool...that makes me feel better. In that case, is there a phone number I can call for the second rebate offer?

Actually some rinky dink outfit out of Texas ships the dvds to you. And I'm 99% sure these are the same sloths that process and ship the HD-Dvd rebates, which with my experience are even slower to go out.

Well whatever. The packaging says Buena Vista Home Entertainment on the return address. Everyone knows what I mean.

I think Buena Vista sponsors the rebate but isn't actually in charge of processing and shipping them. If they were then they would have to change their name from Buena Vista to Slow As Hella.

Mine took less than a month (mailed via standard First Class mail on 11/19, received on 12/17) and I got all the titles I requested.

The discs came in a crappy pseudo-padded paper envelop, stapled at the open end, but remarkably, all discs were in pristine condition.

It seems to take around 4 weeks from the time you mail it to when you will show up in the system. Then it is another month or so wait for them to ship them to you. From there it could take anywhere from a couple of days up to 30 days to actually receive the movies. Mine so far have not yet arrived and it states that they were shipped on 11/28 from Texas and I live in Oklahoma. Go figure!

This is a bit ridiculous that some would get them in less than a month while others wait 3 to sometimes 6 months to get their damn movies.

I sent mine in at least a month ago, maybe more. Nothing yet. I called them up and they said my order was accepted but still processing.
