Looney Tunes on HD DVD?

Did I just throw 129.99 down the drain buying the Looney Tunes Golden Collection volumes 1-5?

If 50 eps are on XBOX marketplace in HD, what does that mean for a future realease of the Golden Collection in HD?

Nothing's been announced.

Right now, the only high-def Looney Tunes on HD DVD and Blu-ray are the shorts on The Adventures of Robin Hood and March of the Penguins. Nothing more than that has been announced. I think we're probably a ways off from the Golden Collection arriving on either of these formats.

Thx. I guess I will just enjoy them until I hear anything about HD.

I mean at 129.99 for 5 volumes. I can watch them all and sell them on eBay for that or more used.

What kind of tv shows do you see on hd in the near future? I wwan the Seinfeld box set but if they release an HD version after I spent that loot, I will be ticked.

Since Seinfeld is Sony/Columbia, it may get released on Blu ray at some point, but not HD DVD.

Sure, it's not HD, but The Gold Collections look great upconverted.

Mostly shows with a sci-fi bent and maybe a handful of really popular dramas for the foreseeable future.

Star Wars & LOTR?

For some reason, probably staring at a monitor for most of the day, I thought he said 12.99. I was about to say damn where the hell can I get them for that price. Then I read it again and the truth came out.
