Which HD-DVD/BR should I get next week: Bourne or Potter?
I'm trying to limit myself to (at most) one HD-DVD or BR disc a week. Next week sees the release of the Bourne Ultimatum and the fifth Harry Potter film. I'm going to buy one in HD, and one on regular DVD. I have the regular DVDs of the other two Bourne movies and the other four Potter movies. I really can't decide which one to buy in high-definition...anyone want to help me make a decision?

Bourne, because HP isn't my cup of tea. I wouldn't buy the DVD of HP though - you'll just want to replace it later.
However, Amazon has a deal on all three Bournes for $49.95. Just get that and count it as one.

Tough choice - Bourne Ultimatum was kick ass but the HP franchise is no sloch either.
From what I've read, the HP5 DVD might not be so great in terms of PQ, so my vote would be complete your Bourne collection on DVD and get HP5 in HD.

Bourne. Great movie, great format. I think this one will turn a few heads. Everyone's been disappointed at the sumemr "blockbusters" in HD, but Spidey, Shrek, etc. were pretty lousy sequels. Not so with Bourne, it was a seamless transition from 2 to 3, and one of the best trilogies out there (LotR excluded, of course).

I thought Bourne Ultimatum was a much better movie than Order of the Phoenix. Assuming Universal doesn't screw up the transfer, I'd personally go with Bourne if I could only get one of the two.

I gotta go with Harry Potter because that movie will benefit more from being in High Definition. You'll see Matt Damon kick ass on DVD or you'll see Matt Damon's pores kick ass in HD.

That said, I'd still go with Bourne...just a better movie.
