Any news on Smallville Seasons 1-4 on HD?

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Smallville sets on HD, but was curious where we stand with seasons 1 through 4. Any news on when/if they will be released? --Rick

During the snafu on the WarnerHighDef web site, they had entry listings for Season 1 for both formats.

It's probably safe to assume that 1-4 will eventually be released.

Neither can I. So far, I only have 6, but after that purchasing that, 5 is on my list, even with the subpar reviews.

Glad I haven't bought any of the SD sets, I've been tempted during many sales, but I'll just wait until they're all out in HD now. Probably just wait for a complete series set in HD at this point (which will obviously be a couple years out...I can wait).

Subpar reviews? By who? I have Season 5 on HD-DVD and it looks pretty good.

He meant the show, I believe. The first 9 episodes are pretty damn good, but after that, there's only a couple that are good. The rest are forgettable.

I wouldn't hold my breath for these any time soon. TV on HD/BR has not sold very well as-is, and these would be considered catalog-like releases as they are fairly old and already released on DVD. I wonder how well Prison Break sold on Blu-ray?
