Hello All.... new member to the HD Family...HDMI
Hello all, Its a pleasure for you to meet me =)
This past weekend during all of the "BlackFriday" sales. I decided to wake up around 5am and head to Circuit City to purchase the Samsung 50" DLP HDTV 720P that I've had my eye on since viewing it on BFADS website for 799..... I bought the last one (lucky me) http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HL-S50.../dp/B000F2P35K Yesterday I purchased the Toshiba HD-A2.... Unfortunantely I was so wrapped up in the TV that I didn't even realize that the HD Player was on sale for $99 bucks. My stand is cheap is hell (Walmart) but its all come together nicely, thanks to everyone on the forums providing info, reviews of products ect. I ordered the HD DVD Player online so it wont be here for about 2 days or so. I'm not really cheap but instead of going to the store and spending $40 I could ALSO order the cables online. Do the cables make a difference in picture quality or does it either work? Whats the opinion on ebay cables... |
monoprice.com is the place.. 5$
|
I agree with Julian. Don't bother with eBay. If you need cables, Monoprice is the only place you need.

Screw ebay, not worth the hassle. Once you try monoprice you will buy all your cables there. Good quality, amazing price, and they also ship fast.
Like you, I was concerned about the quality of a $5 cable vs. a $80 one. No longer... my entire setup runs off monoprice HDMI cables now. |
GeorgiaBlakk,
Where did you purchase your player from? I am looking to get in on the $99 deal? |

Don't know about you, but most people I know (including myself) watch more DVDs than HDMs in their HD players. Mostly because so much more content is available in DVDs. |
