Free Movie Money for I Am Legend with Omega Man BD

This just came from Amazon, HD DVD is most likely the same. Not all that big of a deal, but I think this is pretty cool, I don't remember seeing any similar promo with any other HD discs (but as always I could be wrong!)

I was on the fence with this one, but with free movie cash (assuming HD also has it) I may just bite.

Good to see this confirmed. That's a big reason I didn't hold off and get this title later during an Amazon sale.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the movie cash worth? Up to 10 bucks?

I like the gesture, but I can't even see a matinee for $7. I doubt I'll use the MovieCash, but I probably would have if it covered an entire ticket. I can't see spending money to see I Am Legend.

$7? WTF? I thought the point of a free ticket was so that you don't have to pay for the movie? This is like the Hitman movie cash for up to $8.50. I don't care that it's $9 for a night show, I still wouldn't pay the $.50 to see it. I just used a free ticket for The Mist and it was worth $10.50.

I've never seen this movie, I was wondering if its even worth it.

I just ended up passing on this feature at best buy today - but i did notice the movie bucks...

However I picked up Anchorman and Pixar shorts for under $40 w/tax!

Its your basic 70s sci fi cinema. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's fun to watch. I like the other version, Last Man On Earth, maybe a little more. Personally I am looking forward to the new one.
