We went to the Wal-Mart in Plano, TX (somewhat rich area) a little after 7AM. We were fourth inline. The guy told us they had received 15 PS3s. I started pulling discs out of their meagor display shelf before the electronics guy stopped me and said that we weren't allowed to pick through their inventory because someone might come by wanting to buy a BD disc that wasn't getting the deal. They had a reasonably large stock behind the counter that they set up in a display.

We picked up:
Terminator 2
Fifth Element
Oceans 13
Pirates of the Caribbean 1
Blood Diamond
Casino Royale
Final Fantasy
28 Weeks Later
Night at the Museum
and one more I can't remember.

Was a pretty good haul and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection they had. They didn't have many of several discs though (we got the only copy of Casino Royale) so the 10th person in line probably had very slim pickings.

At the WalMart I went to, they had a computer printed (black and white - text only) sign in the two locked glass cabinets with PS3 hardware and games. One was on the endcap, and the other just around the corner from the endcap in the same aisle as all the other gaming systems. I don't recall seeing any signs elsewhere in the store (front doors, movie aisle, etc), but I can't say I was looking for them.

I got mine at about 11:00 am, and there were still 2 left as of about 11:30 am. I think she said they started the morning with 9.

Anyone know if Walmart is going to do this again with free movies? I don't care for the $50 gift card.
