I've been waiting for an HD DVD sale to pick up a few movies, so I bit and got Casablanca (based on all the astounding reviews), Apollo 13, and Christmas Story for total of $39.90. I would've bought more if they offered the non-combo version of some of the others, such as Good Night and Good Luck.

Plus they have 2 Fast 2 Furious but not the original...

Thanks for the notice. I'd been stallimg on my Deep Discount Sale order and it actually paid off. I was going to get "Hallowwen", "Dawn of the Dead" and "Day of the Dead" at DDD and it would have cost me approximately $45. My final total at Amazon (with the 10$ discount) is 33.91.

For some reason if you have any of the Best of HD DVD sets in your cart it doesn't trigger any of the discounts.

Leechboy, are you doing 3 of the HD Best of Sets? The 1 free shows up for me. . .

Are the best of sets just a box with the individual discs in original cases? Im interested in enough of these movies to make it a deal, but there are a few Im not interested in and would probably rather sell on ebay if possible...

And did I hear the movies that are combo discs (The Departed) and non-combo discs in this box set?

I tried all 3 Best of HD DVD sets together. No discount.

Then I tried 1 Best of HD DVD set and 2 other HD DVDs. 10% off but no free one.

The Best of Blu Ray sets all work fine though.

Not quite dead yet. I just ordered the 3 Best Of HD-DVD sets and the discount applied. They still have a link for it on the main dvd sale page, as well, although it looks like the selection's been cut in half.
