I am in the HD-DVD world now with this deal. Total was $190. Pretty good deal for 10 HD-DVDs and a player. My PS3 just broke, so I sold my entire Blu-ray collection (about 45 Blu-rays). I didn't feel like paying $500 for a new PS3. I wasn't going to go back to HD for a while, but deals like these are too good to pass up.

That is what I thought. I called Sony, but didn't have the receipt, so they couldn't do anything about it. I was pissed that a reciept was required when the system launched less than a year ago. They said they would fix it for $150, but that is way too much. I'm probably actually making money by selling my Blu-ray collection. I got good deals on most of the movies I own.

I ordered the A3. Now that my Oppo has died and I'd like to have an upconverting player again, so that need and the HD-DVD capability made this an easy trigger to pull.

Damn I already have 3 copies of "300". But I'd like to grab the players while they throw in all these discs. I know prices will continue to fall however I'm sure they'll stop including $250 worth of discs at some point. I have both the BR and HD at my apartment on Long Island and am still watching SD at home in Rochester. Boy you quickly get spoiled don't you?
