For those bummed about the Samsung my local Best Buy had several open boxed 1200 units for $249 and prices will be "dropping soon" on them according to the employee there. For some reason I really like the look of the 1200 and could careless about any type of audio since this player will be going in the bedroom. They also had 5 different opened BDP-1 for $649 (?!).

You can always make a deal with them on open box. If you offered $200 I am pretty sure they would get manager approval and take your $200.

GizmoDVD, I would strongly suggest against getting a Samsung Blu-ray player. Especially since you already have a PS3. It'll make you want to kill yourself.
