2.7 did not fix HDMI/DVI issue
 

I have the HD-A2 connected to a Samsung HLN5065WX DLP via HDMI/DVI cable.
I am only able to get 720p via the HDMI since firmware 2.3 and nothing has changed with 2.5 or 2.7.

The upgrade over Ethernet worked perfectly.

I've got HDMI to the TV, and the red and white audio cables to my reciever. I use the TV as the 'center speaker' so to speak, it makes the voice audio sound that much better. If I was to use an optic cable though for audio to my reciever, there's a slight sound difference between the TV's audio that's coming in from HDMI, and the sound then going into the reciever via optic cable. There's a delay on the optic cable source. It pesters me to no end as I wish I could enjoy lagless audio through the better audio cable. I hope this new update fixes that.
