Some good Blu-Ray disc deals At JR.Com

Hi there are some $12.99 and $15.99 blu-ray disc deals at JR.com. Just bought Casino Royale for $15.99 and Patriot for $12.99.

There are still lots of other titles priced at $12.99 and $15.99. just have to find it by yourself. hope this helps!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm a little bummed because I ordered Tekkonkinkreet for $21.80 last night at DVD Planet and I could have gotten it for $15.99. Some really good deals to be had-

Lives of Others $15.99
Hostel $12.99

-many other good titles. Here's the link to the sale-

http://www.jr.com/JRSectionView.proc...romos/Movie05/ .

Does anyone know of a free shipping code?

A couple of titles that tend to be pretty expensive and weren't part of the recent BOGO sales:

Lives Of Others $15.99
Black Book $15.99

Edit: Just noticed that Lives Of Others was mentioned in the post before mine.

If you think you might be buying from them again you can add a $20 GC to your order and get free shipping.

There are some great SONY titles which I have never seen on sale up until now (Volver, The Lives of Others, Black Book, etc). Though admittedly I have never shopped from these people before (do they ship out of NY).

I buy all my higher-end equipment from J&R. Their store is an entire city block literally next to Ground Zero. They ship from NY and charge sales tax if it goes to NY, so I lose out on that deal. If you're out of state you're good, and these are excellent prices even with the 20% off sales going on.

I get to the payment and shipping part in the shopping cart and it shows free shipping on everything. Maybe not what they intended, but that's the way it seems to work.

How is calling about "Is it free shipping if I add a giftcard to an order" calling about a deal?

If a great deal is to be had on a website whether it be a glitch or whatnot, it's best not to question it.

I ordered Volver, it's a great deal even with the shipping.

Sony is running a "buy 2 get one free by mail" deal from 10/28 to 12/15. Most of the titles are on the 12.99 list at J&R.com.

Keep in mind that J&R has this terrible history of taking up to a month to ship media items. Overall, I really like the company, but they will generally pull all media items from the local stores to ship out, which is why it takes so long.

I wish they had a store pick-up option for those of us who are in the City Hall area. After having an order not show up for about a month and having items missing from my order, I went to their store and lo and behold, they had the items in the store. I called them up and asked if I can pick up the missing items from their store at the price I had ordered it for, which is cheaper than the store price, but the phone rep simply said no. Too bad.

Anybody from Canada who's ordered from them before??

Are there any additional shipping charges by UPS when they deliver to you??

Thanks

Cancelled my order before it shipped since the new Amazon BOGO deal is much better, at least on the titles I ordered (Bram Stoker's Dracula, Lives of Others, Black Hawk Down, and I had also ordered The Descent but it's cheaper at DDD with the 20% off coupon if you take S&H into consideration).
