Ceiling Mounting the HC1500
 

I just received my HC1500 from Amazon and I had also ordered a universal ceiling mount. Looking at the HC1500 instructions it states you must you a ceiling mount specifically designed for the projector.

Dang! its always something, has anyone ceiling mounted a HC1500 with a different mount than the one recommended? And how did you do it, I don't see any screw holes on the bottom of the projector

I have the HD1000U which is almost identical to the HC1500, it mounts with most any resize able projector mount, I'm using the $17.xx one from monoprice.

Yeah I am using that mount from monoprice for my HD1000U also. Just go with that mount or you can make one yourself.

But where did you attach the Mount, there aren't any holes on the bottom of the HC1500
