I think the 360 HD player will be treated like a red headed stepchild now that we have some fantastic deals on the A2 and A3.

OMG! I was just thinking the same thing. This option no longer makes any sense. Besides it should have been built into the Xbox by now.

With the current deals going on now, Microsoft cannot sell an add-on for more than 89 dollars or it just won't sell.

perhaps that is why they've been having all the generous/free HD DVD promotions as of late. I think the marketing people know what the their competitors have up their sleeve well before the consumer. There may be another price adjustment to the "add-on" before long (speculation on my part mind you).
