Bourne Supremecy HD DVD
 

I bought the boune supremecy on HD DVD for 10 bucks at my record exchange in the city. I took it home and noticed it had foreign writing under the english title. On the back of the dvd it is in 1080 and all that good stuff and it is the combo disc. Everything is in english on the cover art as well including the back information on the case.

Anyone know what version I bought and why it says a different language under the english title on the front of the case?

Must be some sort of other region disc, because the R1 release isn't a combo.

i'll post a picture. aside from the weird title under the english title. nothing else is in a different language on the dvd. ill try and post pictures tomorrow. but for 10 bucks, that's a steal...

the version of King Kong i got with the Xbox360 add-on had a french title and french writing on the back along with English.

If the writing is in French, it's probably the Canadian HD DVD release. That one was bundled with some HP computers. They probably sold that copy to you.

I live in the UK and ordered the Bourne Identity HD DVD from Playusa seeing as though The Bourne Supremacy is the only Bourne HD DVD release in the UK to date. When I received the HD DVD it was in fact the Canadian release with all writing split into english and French on the front and back of the case. It makes no odds really as I watched it tonight and it's fine, the only downside being the flimsy case and sticky residue left from the security stickers.

I am assuming that you also have a French Canadian version of The Bourne Supremacy.

Interesting. Last year my local Best Buy was playing this on one of their PCs. I popped the disc out of the PC and it was the foreign copy. Possible that a large number of them entered the U.S. market.
