Was hoping that Dexter would be released on Blu-ray/HD DVD but nothing from Paramount yet.

Masters of Horror Volumes 1-4 are coming out on Blu-ray later this year as well. There are some rumors about Lost and Desperate Housewives too.

The Dead Zone is slated from Lion's Gate. Fox will also put out 24 and Prison Break, whenever they get around to putting stuff out again.

Nip/Tuck S4 on both formats in a few months. We'll probably see Lost announced soon as well.

It's probably a safe bet that FOX's 24 and Disney's LOST will find their way to Blu-ray eventually (if not this year, probably next).

A while ago I was contacted through a polling/consumer opinion survey regarding putting TV shows on HD. I believe it was either Universal or Warner Bros. who was the source but they were thinking about putting older shows like Dukes of Hazzard on HD. This may have been early this year or late last year so I'm guessing they didn't move forward with it.

This may sound stupid, but I won't buy a TV set on HD that starts with anything less than Season 1. I have Weeds, and there are a lot I would like, but I'm not going to just get some random or recent season.

I know....stupid.

I guarantee all shows released won't start with Season Zero...... They'll start with at least Season 1 or higher.

I feel the same way. It would be strange to me to have part of a show in HD and part in SD (unless it was made that way, of course). I'm either going to re-buy the whole series in HD or finish it off in SD.

I would be willing to buy something popular like Lost Season 3 if that's what they release first, if I'm confident that they would eventually release the earlier seasons so I could get those.
