Searching for mid-sized HD TV deal
I'd like to purchase my first HD TV. I know I'd like a widescreen LCD, problem is cost. I keep seeing good deals for sizes/types I want on places like buydig.com costco.com and amazon.com The problem is most if not all the best deals are on little-known brands. I always assume this is a bad sign, that they are good deals because they are poor quality. For example this Olevia HDTV is the type I'd like to have, though it is hard to find reviews on it. Consumer Reports isn't much help since they mainly reviewed large-sized TVs. I don't require such large screens as long as the picture is good. Does anyone know anything about this specific TV? Are there any web sites that post good reviews on a variety of models?

If you want to wait a little while longer, Vizio just signed on to sell their plasmas through wal mart. The brand is cheaper than most and has a great picture from what I've read. Just google Vizio and read some reiews. Or you can just do what I did and wait till "Black Friday" and get a great deal. I was able to buy a 32" Samsung HDTV LCD for $799 with free shipping from Best Buy.com. I'm not familar with the olevia brand but from revies that I read, it seems to be okay. Good Luck!
