The Protector HD DVD?

Has this release been canceled, delayed, or was it never supposed to come out in HD?

It had a Dec/Jan release date, and then just fell off the radar.

I don't believe it was ever officially announced even though a few sites had it up for pre-order. Hopefully Weinstein will start releasing all of their Dragon Dynasty films on HD DVD.
