300....HD-DVD? Blu-Ray? or both?
just curious if anyone knows....i heard the dvd release date is August 1
Since it's warner bros it should be both.
Both, but the Blu-ray might be delayed if the release date is Aug 1.
Release date will be June/July expect this movie out by then , Europe is got their schedual for Sept
I thought this was supposed to be one of the first TotalHD disc.
Gotta have this on BR... DL'd the thrailer on the PS3 and impressed...
Saw this at the theater yesterday, kickass movie.
Definately getting the HD DVD. I hope it is a regular HDDVD and not a TotalHD disc. |
hell ya can't wait for this in hd!
Watching this movie and all I could think of was how great this would look on my HT in HD.
Watched it in the theater this weekend and it was good, but not one I want to watch again. However, with the muted colors used I really don't see this one standing out in HD. Its a skip for me either way though.
Loved it loved it loved it. I will definitely buy the HD or BD (depending on audio and price, please don't make this one a combo, WB) on release date.

TotalHD is Warners brilliant idea of placing HD DVD on side and Blu-ray on the other. I'll watch 300 as soon as I find my damn free ticket for it. I've misplaced it somehow.
Note - The proper term for the produced version in question is not:
1. HD DVD or 2. HDDVD, but... HD-DVD. Use the dash, just as you do with Blu-Ray. (It's also a lot easier to remember.) |
i believe hd dvd lost their dash some time ago.

Yeah, no dash and um, the R in Blu-ray isn't captalized.

most people would prefer choice #1, but these are the 4 options for the HD release of 300:
1) simultaneous HD DVD and Blu-ray releases 2) HD DVD release with Blu-ray to follow at a later date due to Blu-ray's delay with interactive features 3) both HD releases delayed due to Blu-ray's delay with interactive features 4) TotalHD release with Blu-ray on one side and HD DVD on the other side |
Seen this movie twice at the theaters. Cannot wait for it to come out in HD DVD!

Gauthier up at the plate. The rookie came out of no where to make the squad this season. The 2-2 pitch... Swung on, driven to DEEP left center field. Fryinpan1 back to the wall...Mr. Cinema also coming over...That ball is.... GONE! A Home Run!!!! Wait. No! Caught! Fryinpan1 made that play look routine! Looks like the rookie has to wait another day for that first big hit.... |
cliques are annoying...
