I would love these three Peter Greenaway titles on Blu-ray, specifically from Criterion!
Drowning by Numbers
The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover
A Zed and Two Noughts

Arrow UK has this coming out next week. I'm pondering on getting it. It apparently has the workprint as an extra.

Did Philadelphia go out of print or is there a manufacturing flaw and it was pulled?

I'm STILL waiting for The Ghost and the Darkness! Preferably with a documentary on the real John Patterson and the Lions of Tsavo.

Re: Your Blu-ray wish list / "When will _______ be on Blu-ray?"
Punch-Drunk Love- This is my most anticipated and long-waited-for title for bluray. What in the hell happened to it? Paul Thomas Anderson announced in 2011 or 2012 that he was working on it and it would be out within a year and it's now... nearly 2015. I've heard vague rumors that Criterion is getting their hands on it and that would be great but at this point we're moving into 4K TV's and whatever Blu-ray's susccessor is going to be.
Sydney (AKA Hard Eight)- P.T. Anderson's first movie. I'm a completist and it's damn good.
True Lies- I really have to say I'm sorry James Cameron fell down the rabbit hole to Pandora and has no time for anything else, like restoring a couple of his long-neglected classics. I've heard that a special edition DVD was in the works back when 9/11 happened and got shelved because... I don't know. because there was a grand shelving of terrorism-themed movies?
Kicking and Screaming (the Noah Baumbach one, not the Soccer one)- Criterion did this on DVD and it's a great edition. Not a visually spectacular movie, it'd just be nice to have it in HD.
Would also love to see the Busby Berkeley movies and some pre-code stuff come to HD. The Blue Angel finally made it via Kino. Would love to see The Story Of Temple Drake. Been hearing about that movie for years and it was never even released on DVD. Apparently you can watch a godawful-looking copy of it on YouTube, but it stars my favorite lady from the 30's (Miriam Hopkins) and I'd love to see her glistening in all her hi-rez glory on my TV.

Even though it was announced, I'm still waiting for a release date for Orson Welles' The Trial. Kino announced it over two years ago, yet nothing ever came of it.
Speaking of Welles (and not to get off track), what ever happened to the rumored DVD release of Journey into Fear? I recall during one of the Warner chats, they were looking at releasing it around the time they released The Magnificent Ambersons, but I never heard anymore about it. Anyone here know anything?

Re: When will Warner Bros release Busby Berkeley Blu Ray Box Set?
I bet they did prep work for at least some of this material a few years ago. I know George Feltenstein said they worked on all the Astaire-Rogers films. Then the BD catalog market died (see other threads for that discussion).
This. I bet 42nd Street would outsell some of their BD releases. And they're releasing Yankee Doodle Dandy, which is a better film but also a black-and-white musical so there's precedent.
This too.

I threw my wish list in the Shout! factory thread not realizing there was a sticky for this.
So here is a repeat:
My wish list:
The Black Hole (I know it is owned by Disney but they will likely never release it on BD)
Blood In Blood Out: Bound By Honor
Buck Rogers In The 25th Century (TV series)
Bully
Candyman
The Changeling (1980)
Glengarry GlenRoss
Grandma's Boy
Hardbodies
Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte
Just One Of The Guys
Miami Vice (TV series)
Mischief
Nemesis
Night Of The Living Dead (1968)
The Pirate Movie
Popeye (Robin Williams - 1980)
Return Of The Living Dead 3
The Rifleman (TV Series)
Sheitan
Spencer's Mountain
Splendor In The Grass
Team America: World Police
Turistas
Xanadu
and an Andy Sidaris film collection (the 80's)
