Christmas Holiday (1944), D: Siodmak, S: Deanna Durbin, Gene Kelly. Stuck in unspecified (anybody know details?) rights hell. Can't go wrong with a Siodmak noir, and Gene Kelly was an A-list star.

Given the amount of boutique labels that release films like that, I'm a bit surprised no one has picked it up.

The Region 1 DVD released by Henstooth has been out of print for years and still is pricey on the secondary market.

Criterion or Arrow or KL needs to get on this. The existing Blu-ray is an early-era release with lossy DD audio on a 25gb disc.
Give us a 4K version of both cuts, please!!

I am starting to really think that the U.S will never receive a Blu-Ray release of Street Soldiers (1991), All I have ever found of it being on any disc media has been PAL release. We have never even had it released on DVD, Shameful.

Other than importing the title, a movie that popped into my head lately and probably belongs in this thread is Komodo. I remember renting this title on DVD many, many years back from Netflix and it was so much fun. The sequel (or sequels?) is a Syfy quality flick (but still surprisingly fun to watch), but the original is I believe is a direct to video movie that I read about on some site years ago and had me looking for the film and lucking out that Netflix offered it. I had completely forgotten about this movie but then Alligator finally got a release and was finally shown the love it deserved getting a UHD release and I started to think about other movies that have still not been released on Blu ray in North America that deserve a high def release, and this film qualifies.

Shout factory would be an ideal boutique label to put this film out on blu/UHD, and I never thought Alligator would see the light of day in the form of a UHD release, so I feel that I should still hold out hope that someday this film gets a high def release.
