Buffalo '66 is on blu-ray in Japan, which is Region A. (~34 from YesAsia). I did find a 720p version online. Christina in 720p bouncy goodness!
The Devil's Backbone is available in the UK, but I believe it's Region B locked.

Koyaanisqatsi is being released by Criterion, but it is part of a 3 disc set, combined with Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi.

Lake Placid is currently playing on HBO HD. Often times when a catalog title suddenly appears on a premium channel, there's a decent chance a BD release follows. I hope a BD is on the way.

The one film I want most on Blu-Ray is "The Shadow", since the U.S. never even got a widescreen DVD of it. Every other major comic-based film from the mid-1990s has been released, so why not this one?

I'd buy Batman: The Animated Series on Blu-ray in an instant if it was released. Some episodes really could be cleaned up as I've been watching the series again and notice on quite a few there's video issues such as dirt/specks on the print. Although I guess I'm not sure how much they could do with the source material.

One-Eyed Jacks (a proper release...Criterion, are you listening?...rather than the horrible looks-like-a-direct-transfer-from-old-VHS abomination that came out recently).

I suppose the movie is still in public domain since there are about 500 different SD versions available.

Although it would affect the value of the SD "Disney Treasure" tins (which sold out in about two weeks), I'd still love to see it in HD...and for more people to be able to own a copy.

Not expecting Disney to do anything with back catalog other than animated features, though.
