Robert of Value Electronics has lowered the HD-A2 player again. Now, he's offering the HD-A2 for $399 + free shipping + free 2 HD DVDs or 4-year warranty. I'm getting close to replacing my A1.

WTF! I JUST bought one at Best Buy and now he has it for $65 less with 2 additional movies? Time to order from Robert and return my other A2 to Best Buy then.

I went to Circuit City today looking through their blu ray selection and lo and behold, found Babel for 24.99. It rang up at 29.99 but the lady at the counter price adjusted the Blu ray. Not sure if its national, but the sticker reads 24.99.

I'd like a combo player, but this first LG one. Crippled upon release. For $1200, it better have ALL functionality.
Any news on a 2nd gen, non-crippled, combo-player? Or a 1st gen by another company? |
