I'd buy everything on that list. An influx of Disney animation would definitely convince me to dive into Blu-ray ASAP.

I would be surprised to see any of the Platinum titles listed being released anytime in the next couple years, but it's still good to see that Disney is open to releasing them at some point in time. If they were serious though, they would have released Little Mermaid day-and-date with the DVD release.

They're definitely going to stretch those release dates and milk them for all their worth.

I'd be more interested in live action stuff, like Pirates of the Carribean.
In my experience, animation tends to upscale quite well (watched The Incredibles again last week and thought it looked pretty good on upscaled DVD), so my current handful (four) of animated DVDs is good enough for now. But, then, I am not a big fan of animated movies; once is enough for most of them.

Yeah those screens really just tell us what we already knew. At some point those films will be released in BD. It still doesnt give any type of dates or release schedule. Until I actually see dates this is just something that I already knew.

The poster sucks! It should read "Experience the magic of Disney beyond High Definition!"
Seriously though, although I haven't got any HD player yet, I too wished they release it on HD-DVD.

Lots of Disney Animation Coming to Blu-Ray
Not sure if this was known or posted, I found it very interesting and exciting.
On the new Peter Pan: Platinum Edition there is a preview for Blu-Ray, in the preview it lists these movies coming soon from Disney Blu-Ray:
Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
The Little Mermaid
The Lion King
Monsters Inc.
And a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. Don't know when, but I'll be looking forward to all of these.

I hadnt seen any mention, but I recently thought about the Disney DVDs I had and future BR releases. I decided to sell a few of the OOPs like Lion King and Beauty & the Beast and got some quite good prices, more than the new Hi Def ones will be I guess

I thought about that, but when will these come out. We have seen time and time again titles appear and disappear on these new formats. I have a printed promotional insert that says Matrix on HD-DVD fall 2006. Well, fall came and went and there is no Matrix. Those big name titles on BR, I think eventually, but not real soon.
