$25.15 is worth it for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Yesterday I picked up Jarhead, Sahara, The Fugitive, and Lethal Weapon.

Just picked up Serenity from Wal-Mart. It's amazing how a second viewing can sometimes completely change one's opinion of a movie.

I also got a new sprinkler for my front yard.

I looked on amazon.jp and they are slightly cheaper for the Japanese titles, but they didn't have 'The Pianist'.

I know I've seen a few threads around different sites, but they seem to be incomplete. Are there any sites out there that are posting (relatively) complete lists of HD-DVD releases worldwide? As I get closer to my player purchase, this is going to be crucial for me...

Serenity bowled me over when I saw it in HD. I have a new found respect for Joss Whedon.

DVDEmpire.com has a nice list that seems up to be up-to-date and each title includes all the pertinent HD DVD details.

Sorry, guess I wasn't clear enough... I'm talking about a resource for worldwide HD-DVD releases. I'm up-to-date on what's available in the U.S. But what about Japan, Europe, etc.

Mr. Cinema 08-12-06 07:33 AM

My Walmart finally got in some new titles. They hadn't had any in a few weeks and this morning I noticed they finally got Happy Gilmore, Pitch Black, We Were Soldiers, Four Brothers, Tomb Raider, Sky Captain, Sleepy Hollow, Sahara, The Manchurian Candidate, and Friday Night Lights. All were $19.99

I picked up Tomb Raider, Four Brothers, and Pitch Black.

danio 08-14-06 03:12 PM

New to the forum! :)

I've just today received Four Brothers - it seems to have received a good review and is a film I've not seen yet! :)

digitalfreaknyc 08-14-06 03:33 PM

Just got KKBB and Italian on Saturday. I was flipping around KKBB and am honestly amazed at how good it looks, even at 15gb.

candyrocket786 08-14-06 03:42 PM

Picked up Ray over the weekend.

Damn good film!

Mr. Cinema 08-14-06 03:43 PM

I bought and watched Friday Night Lights on Saturday. Though the visual style doesn't scream demo material, I thought it looked very good.

Four Brothers on dvd had great audio/video. I haven't had chance to watch the HD version yet, but AVS members brag on it alot.

Supermallet 08-24-06 11:45 PM

Caddyshack arrived in the mail today. Will post about it in a bit.

nonametofame 08-25-06 11:08 AM

Picked up GN&GL at CC. Awaiting shipments of Tomb Raider and Blazing Saddles which I ordered for $9 total using the overstock coupons.

chente 08-27-06 02:43 PM

Picked up Enter the Dragon at Fry's yesterday and will order

Training Day
Ray
Constantine
Sleepy Hollow
Serenity

when my Amazon 10% discount starts showing up. I ordered the player yesterday and the page says that the discount will go into effect within 72 hours.

danio 08-27-06 03:37 PM

Just ordered 'Bourne Supremacy'; the price has dropped again on this title - I can't resist now that it's only £13.99 (UK Pounds)

darkside 08-27-06 06:44 PM

My most recent purchases are The Searchers and Good Night and Good Luck.

Gizmo 08-27-06 10:11 PM

C'mon HD Players....drop to $399.99...Need to get Serenity.

Also, used HD/BR at GameStop? My guess would be they were stolen and traded in. Happens ALOT.

Vipper II 08-28-06 04:12 PM

Pre-ordered this because the voices told me to, and I'm weak.

The Tosh is $363 if you have a Continental Frequent Flyer account.

chente 08-28-06 09:21 PM

My player and order of Constantine and Sleepy Hollow both shipped today. I should get the movies on Thursday and the player on Friday just in time for the weekend.

MichaelMeyers 08-28-06 11:32 PM

I picked up the Bourne Supremacy at Best Buy this weekend. I also did Amazon pre-orders for: Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, the Fast and the Furious, Army of Darkness, Fast Times At Ridgemont High and the Mission Impossible Collection...

Supermallet 08-29-06 12:02 AM
