Yah but it doesn't say which location in the city. Like...for NYC, we have several different PC Richards. I need to find out which they're at.

Sure it does. :) Look at the address column:

2375 Broadway & 86th St, New York, NY 10024

Interesting, hope they make it to Columbus.

Just got back.

Some thoughts:

There was a demo with HD/SD on the same screen: left side HD/right side SD. if you catch it quickly enough, there is a disclaimer in the beginning that says the SD side was digitally created or something like that. They made SD look A LOT worse than it typically does...and most people were quick to point that out.

Long story short: i was very impressed by what I saw BUT we weren't able to hear it on a full sound system...only one of those all-in-one speaker dealies.

Someone FINALLY asked about blu-ray. You should have seen the guy stumble. Definitely not the brightest bulb on the planet. He couldn't come up with a single thing about HDDVD that was definitively better. he kept talking about backward-compatibility and i said "Blu-ray has that too." He said that HDDVD has 95% of movie studios backing it..."again, not true."

But know this: there were people buying it. On the spot. For $750. As I stated before, these weren't educated guys. The one guy i saw who was waiting for a manager looked like hell. Huge beer gut in sweatpants with paint on them. Total J6P. But he was amazed...and he had money to burn.

Someone needs to kick Blu-Ray in the ass. This is their war to lose at this point. HD-DVD does have the leg-up because they're the ones out of the gate first...and the sales person was quick to point that out A LOT during the presentation. Overall, there was a lot of mis-information and HIDDEN information given. It was basically geared towards people that had heard nothing about it before and they're smart for doing it.

Remember J6P won't be able to tell the difference and wants nothing to do with this HD nonsense. ;)

That being said, I really want to buy products right off the bat, but something is telling me to wait a few months and see what way the wind is blowing first.

Give me PS3 with HD, that is what I want. They only problem with PS3 is that it won't play Halo 3.
