Sentimental favorite (my favorite western) I don't think it will look any better in HD than lots of other possible titles. But I will re-buy it if it is offered in HD and reviews suggest that it has been well mastered to take advantage of the new format.

1. Lord of the Rings - Obvious first choice.

2. Dark City - Still one of the best SciFi films out there.

3. Band of Brothers - Best WWII movie/series ever.

4. Matrix - First one only.

5. Kill Bill - One movie. Both parts. Uncut.

6. Finding Nemo - Gotta have one Pixar film.

7. Shawshank Redemption - Great film that would benefit from a new remastering.

8. Enter the Dragon - I love Bruce Lee flims, and this one would be the first released.

9. Monty Python and the Holy Grail - I would love to see this film be touched up.

10. Pink Floyd: The Wall - Uncompressed audio

I left out a few of my favorites because they wouldn't benefit from the new format. Namely no Kevin Smith or Edward Norton films.

Quigley Down Under looked gorgeous in high-definition on HDNet Movies -- quite possibly the best looking movie I've ever seen on that channel.

Whether or not I upgrade probably depends on whether or not it is a better release overall instead of just the a/v. I probably won't pick up the original Braveheart release as it looks like it may be pretty much barebones. Ultimately, if the content beats out the current release, I will pick up the following:

1. Braveheart
2. - 7. Both Star Wars Trilogies
8. - 10. LOTR EE Trilogy

Most of the others I will probably wait until my current copy dies or they become cheap enough. I will already have to fork over the cash to pick up a new tv, HD player, receiver, speakers, etc. for the new releases to make a real difference, so it's not like I have the money to just replace everything (especially with the amount of $$ I make each year).
