Once, yet AGAIN, no search results...
 

I probably should just give up ever trying to find ANYTHING using the search feature here when I am trying to find reviews. This is like the 3rd or 4th time I've asked about this. AGAIN... you show a review supposedly available listed on the IMDB External Reviews as such: DVD Talk [Jamie S. Rich]

Click on the link... 404 Error. Do a search for 'THE DEATH RAY OF DR. MABUSE'... '0' results. And, YES I did try just 'Doctor Mabuse' by itself, nothing, nothing, nothing...

So, is the deal that the links on IMDB are wrong, that NO reviews exist for the titles they show there? A shame too. Like I've said numerous times before, I REALLY like the reviews here and always try to find them here if possible. But, by now I'm guessing the answer is, if there is no page for the link, forget it and go somewhere else... Sorry to sound so negative, but after 4 times can you really blame me?

The problem seems to be that IMDB has some old-style URL's for some reviews (here's where the old link lives: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058667/externalreviews/), although I wasn't able to locate any other examples. One fix is to update all the links on IMDB, but I don't how they'd do that. The other fix is for DVD Talk to implement a URL rewrite for the old style to the new style. Not sure why they haven't done that, especially for SEO purposes.

Hey, that was very nice of you to find the link for me, thank you! I wonder why the hell when I do searches with the CORRECT spelling 'Dr. Mabuse' I do not get any results...??? How the hell did YOU find it 😊 I realize how huge of a job that would be for someone to try to update every review link on IMDB, that is fully understandable. BUT... for the perfectly good search terms NOT to turn up any results, THAT my friend is SUPREMELY frustrating!

For whatever reason, the search doesn't like words/terms less than 4 characters. Just search for Mabuse and you will find it.

Damn, I shoulda thought of that (I thought I tried that, but I must not have -rolleyes-) That is very good to know. So, what you are saying is that I can use as many 4-letter words as I want...? :D
