Spoilers not opening

I haven't checked any other threads, but the spoilers in the "Music Video Sequitur Thread" in Music Talk aren't opening for me. I've tried using two different browsers on two different computers and...nothing.

Can somebody check on that?

I just checked and they weren't opening at first. About 30 seconds later they started to open normally. Maybe it was a temporary glitch?

Yeah, it's because the pages have too many assets on them. Takes a moment to load.

😆 You said “load”!

Sorry, couldn’t resist! 😉

IBJoel, I tried opening the spoilers on the first page of the above-mentioned thread, and they opened. I still can't get any of the spoilers on the last page of the thread to open, however.

Give it a few minutes, then come back to that browser tab and see if it's working. It just seems super slow.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too.

You can't click a spoiler button until all of the images/videos embedded in the page have loaded.

It's kind of annoying, especially if you're on a slow connection, but it's most likely a quirk baked into the software the forum uses and not something that can be changed.

ETA: If someone finds themselves stuck, they might be able to click on the single post and bypass whatever is hanging.

The thread is completely non-functional if post #195 is on the page.

Thank you, gentlemen!

I was beginning to think that I was being gaslighted.
