Re: What is this?
The worst thing about this cloudflare garbage is that is slows the site loading by about 10 seconds while the "checking the browser," and also that it FORCES you to have Javascript on or DVDTalk then won't load at all. Without Javascript on, the cloudflare "check" never completes nor redirects back to DVDTalk. Forcing us to use Javascript further slows the site down. What a PITA... How could bots really be dirupting the site that much after, what 20 years, to feel that this draconian step is now necessary to interfere with our enjoyment of the site?
What's next, a captcha request every time we go to the site? |
Re: What is this?
Was fine earlier this morning, but just now got it again. Not a huge deal since it's only 5 seconds to wait, but still odd.

Meh, as annoying as it might be, it's still preferable to [banned_member]'s posts.

I keep a tab open on my work PC almost all day. It'll go through the CF check if after maybe 10 min of inactivity when I come back and click on any link.

CloudFlare has been on the site for years. And as I stated above, this is an abnormal occurrence, due to testing the other night, and we are working on resolving it.
