Re: What is this?
Still getting a Cloudflare notification at 7:15am.

Re: What is this?
My “please allow up to 5 seconds” is a lie. Getting longer each visit, 12 seconds just now, every other site loads normally and instantly.

Re: What is this?
I haven't noticed a change in the wait time. It seems consistent with other sites I use which have CF active. 3-5 seconds at most (so far).
|
Re: What is this?
It's definitely taking longer today for me. It was pretty quick like a second or two yesterday. Today it's a very noticeable wait.
|
Re: What is this?
Getting really tired of this crap.
|
Re: What is this?
Just happened again. Delay seems the same.

Re: What is this?
I'll bring this up to tech. How often are you guys visiting the forum per day?
Also, the "non-secure" messaging is unrelated and has to do with page elements, like the Premium Member icon. |

Re: What is this?
I've been getting it the past two days. Using the latest build of Firefox.

Re: What is this?
Everyone time I enter the forum.

Re: What is this?
The worst thing about this cloudflare garbage is that is slows the site loading by about 10 seconds while the "checking the browser," and also that it FORCES you to have Javascript on or DVDTalk then won't load at all. Without Javascript on, the cloudflare "check" never completes nor redirects back to DVDTalk. Forcing us to use Javascript further slows the site down. What a PITA... How could bots really be dirupting the site that much after, what 20 years, to feel that this draconian step is now necessary to interfere with our enjoyment of the site?
What's next, a captcha request every time we go to the site? |
Re: What is this?
Was fine earlier this morning, but just now got it again. Not a huge deal since it's only 5 seconds to wait, but still odd.

Re: What is this?
Meh, as annoying as it might be, it's still preferable to [banned_member]'s posts.

I keep a tab open on my work PC almost all day. It'll go through the CF check if after maybe 10 min of inactivity when I come back and click on any link.

CloudFlare has been on the site for years. And as I stated above, this is an abnormal occurrence, due to testing the other night, and we are working on resolving it.
