Quick Reply - Unable to type in body area (MS Edge works fine)

Like the title says. Just recently happened. The Quick Reply area is no longer white blank and now has the QR area in gray and is filled, preventing me from typing anything in the Quick Reply body. Anyone experience this issue?

Added a screenshot.

I was having the same issue. Even going advanced first doesn't give the reply box. On a hunch, I disabled the Duck Duck Go privacy extension for the site and the quick reply box came right up.

Are you using it or something similar?

Either a bug (extension or site) or a change by IB against privacy extensions.

Update: About an hour later with the DDG extension active, the reply box is working again.

I'm confused... You're saying you can't type in the Quick Reply area, but your SS is showing Post New Thread.

(FWIW This was entered in the Quick Reply area, using Chrome for Windows.)

Hmmmm, yeah was using Chrome when the bug happened, but now it's fine. Not sure what happened. Seems to be solved for now.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. ANY kind of posting didn't work, not just the Quick Reply feature.

Same here... no posting method worked until I disabled DDG. Then an hour later (and still does) it worked with the extension enabled.

^Does DDG dynamically update their extension or its behaviour? Perhaps they had reports of this issue and did something to correct it?

They do have a report this site isn't working properly in the extension button.

No trouble since.

Bumping this for a possible related problem. Intermittently, the Quick Reply box contains the DVDTalk home page! This prevents me from replying, but so far, refreshing seems to clear it up. This is what it looks like:

I had it happen to me once the other day, but thought it was a fluke. I'll ask tech

Happening to me every time I came to the forum since April! Which was actually just yesterday. Seems to be working for me today.
