Embedding from YouTube not working?
 

It's been so long since this hasn't worked for me, I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong:

Here's my attempt to embed using the embed code, which is how I always do it:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/p04TYk4j0zQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here's my attempt using the "old embed code" option:

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/p04TYk4j0zQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/p04TYk4j0zQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

What am I doing wrong? Again, I know there used to be issues with embedding via YouTube but I haven't run into those in a long time and have posted plenty of videos since.

Just use the yt /yt tags in brackets around the video's ID.



Both your other methods worked for me as well.

...and now the videos I posted are showing up. They weren't before.

It always takes a few minutes for the videos to appear. Don't expect them the minute you post the thread.

That's not something I've ever noticed here until today. They always came in when I previewed the post :shrug:

Hmmm. I don't post videos very often, but have been lately. Maybe something has changed?
