Re: Forum Database Errors

I can only get into threads showing as most recently updated by clicking the arrows on the main page, all else just refreshes the page. Using Firefox 21.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Tech is reporting as resolved; I'm no longer seeing it; is anyone who cleared cache still seeing this behavior?

Re: Forum Database Errors

Still having problems on iOS with Safari. Clicking some subforums (TV) it redIrects to main forum listing. I can click on thread preview, but going up on directory still boots me out.

I tried clearing history and chache. Everything works fine on my Kindle.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Cleared my cookies and I still can't get into some of the forums such as movie talk and sports talk...it keeps taking me back to the main forum page.

I'm having the same problem with my iPad. When I click on the Politics link it just refreshes the general page.

ie 10, never had a problem up until a week or so ago.

some threads work fine (like TV Talk) yet Movie Talk and many of the others do not. clicking it brings me back to the main forum page.

Re: Forum Database Errors

It was doing that to me on and off for a couple days, multiple platforms. Seems to be fine now. I didn't delete any cookies or do anything to try to fix it.

Tech has been unable to reproduce this. I'm not sure what else to tell you to try. Sounds like a local issue as you're the only one reporting it now.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Not database errors, per se, but the site is generally unconnectable today, for the past half hour at least. Lots of HTTP connections either slow, or simply dropped.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Yep we've had a bit of unscheduled downtime here today. Looks to be resolved or nearly so, now.

Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Forum Database Errors

At about 9:45pm (or so) last night I came here to make a post in the DVD Talk forum and could have gone to the kitchen and made myself a sandwich in the time it took to actually get into the forum and make a post. The DVD Talk forum usually takes the longest to get into anyway (don't know why that is, none of the other forums here take that long), but last night it was terrible. After I made my post I decided I'd go do something else. It wasn't worth waiting forever to do anything here. I imagine there were alot of other people you lost that way last night as well.
