Thread headline editing by users
Hey,
i'd like to ask if it would be possible to have users changing their thread headlines by themselfs?Would be much more handy. Could someone change my thread headline http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-talk/59...vel-based.html to "Classic english dramas (novel based)" The expression 'classical' i think is misleading and doesnt make sense in english. greetings & have a nice day |
Re: Thread subtitle editing by users
Hello there! I have updated your thread title.
If you would like similar changes to be made to one of your threads, all you need to do is click on this icon -- http://forum.dvdtalk.com/images/buttons/report.gif -- and let a moderator know. |

Re: Thread subtitle editing by users
We had this feature in place some years ago. Cue a slew of threads along the following lines:
STEP ONE: create thread entitled Post "Yes" here if you love the American Way STEP TWO: sit back and see a list of, er, patriots sign up STEP THREE: amend thread title to Post "Yes" here if you espouse communism STEP FOUR: -ptth- The facility was soon removed! For the relatively rare instances where a thread title change is required, Adam's suggested methodology suffices. |
Re: Thread subtitle editing by users
