Embedding videos on DVD Talk - need help

I have tried to embed videos on this website but can never seem to get it to work. I have searched the forum threads on here and tried some suggestions, but those were 3 or 4 years old.

I go to YouTube, click Share, then click Embed, then copy all the text, but where do I paste it in a thread.

I use Google Chrome. Is there some extra software I have to use to embed YouTube videos? Is this fairly simple?

I've struggled with this for about 24 hours.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You just paste the embed code into the area where you'd type your post. That's it.

I just take the youtube video ID, the ten or so letter/number code, like HaqVSl4SWP8, and put it inside of [ yt] [ /yt] tags (remove the spaces).
