sexually explicit ad
Well I can access the forums, but the rest of the site is off limits at work. This is new.

Re: sexually explicit ad
Hi. Can you be a bit more specific? Is there an ad you're seeing?
It sounds as if your IT staff has just blocked DVDTalk from your network. Bad luck. |
Re: sexually explicit ad
No, I can't be more specific what with it being blocked. Do you really think they'd block all parts of dvdtalk except the forums? Does that even sound logical to you?
Anyway, whatever it was is gone now, and I can see the reviews, release lists, etc. I'll be sure not to bother pointing anything out in the future, good luck with those advertisting dollars. |
Re: sexually explicit ad
 What are they supposed to do with a vague "something won't let me see the website" notice?
And it sounds perfectly logical to me that the forums could be unblocked when the rest of the site isn't, I've seen that kind of thing happen all the time with various nanny web filters. |
Re: sexually explicit ad
Which ad is it? Is it the one with the sassy blonde, showing off her ankles?
My wife almost caught me looking at that one. |
Re: sexually explicit ad
Devinjc, you started a feedback & support thread called "sexually explicit ad" and posted that you can access only the forums at work, making no reference to an ad... or to anything at all really. And you snap at me for trying to help you? Yeesh.
