New Forum Format Coming Anytime Soon?
 

Just wondering....because I've been a member over at SirStevesGuide and they just changed their forums over and it looks awful now IMO.....the admin there said the following....

We've held off from upgrading over a year and soon, the forum makers will stop supporting the older versions and they will all have to be upgraded or switch to another brand.

And they had the same look as DVDTalk. Can anyone confirm if this is coming to us here?

vB 4 would look fine if they don't put that awful sidebar up.

I like the sidebar but only if it's on a fluid width theme like this: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/

SirSteveGuide should make a fluid theme cause that fixed theme looks bad on widescreen monitors.

I hate those sidebars. I'm a moderator at another forum, everytime I log in there I have to x out of that stupid sidebar, it's a waste of good real estate if you ask me. Too bad I have no administrative power there or I'd look for a way to write that sidebar off as a bad idea.

Sometimes newer is NOT better. -kd5-

I don't mind the sidebar. I don't like how it doesn't adjust to wider screens.
