Sticky with a ton of broken links...
This thread in the Home Theater Gear forum would be a great resource...if any of the links worked. However, the thread was created in 2003, and most (if not all) of the links are dead.
Is there a way to clean it up, or unsticky it? I had never been in the thread, and went to browse the items...but could not. |
It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness
:D Just read an earlier post in that thread!
Anyways, my take is that the thread was created by a member who no longer has the time to keep it current. There have been some great threads in various forums where one member, lacking the time to keep a thread of this kind going, has "passed on the baton", thus encouraging/preserving a useful resource. So, if another member would like to research the information contained in the referenced thread, and produce their own update, that would be great. Do we have a volunteer, Tarantino? PS) If you build it, they will come! PPS) I'll let the sticky fall but with a note saying that a new thread maintainer would be welcome. |

Cool, I'll see what I can do when I get home.

A positive outcome!
I've stickied it and closed the predecessor with a link back to the 2010 version. :5star:  |
